System Administrator – Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure

About the role

SuperCom is seeking a hands‑on System Administrator with a DevOps mindset to join its infrastructure team. You will build, secure, and maintain both cloud (AWS/Azure) and on‑premise environments for customer‑facing production services, ensuring high availability and robust monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain customer environments from scratch in AWS, Azure, and on‑premise (compute, networking, storage, load balancers, DNS, certificates, AD, application deployment).
• Manage Fortinet FortiGate security policies, NAT, routing, VPN tunnels, HA pairs, and FortiAuthenticator/FortiClient EMS.
• Administer Active Directory across all environments – user accounts, groups, GPOs, permissions.
• Maintain VMware/ESXi virtualization, backup/recovery, storage systems, and Windows Server patching and health checks.
• Build and operate monitoring, alerting, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle processes.
• Configure load balancers (HAProxy, Azure Application Gateway, Fortinet) and firewall rules for compliance.
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Git, and Jenkins.
• Participate in DR and site‑failover testing and document repeatable runbooks.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in system administration, IT operations, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Self‑motivated, methodical, and able to work independently.
