Social Media Community Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

The Social Media Community Manager will be the daily voice of our brand, engaging customers and prospects across digital platforms. This maternity‑leave cover position is ideal for a proactive, creative professional who can turn fans into ambassadors and extend our reach to new audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the brand’s voice, mission and purpose on all social media channels.
• Proactively identify and join relevant online conversations, even when not directly mentioning the brand.
• Collaborate with Customer Support to deliver fast, empathetic responses to user inquiries and complaints.
• Moderate public forums and community discussions to protect and grow brand reputation.
• Surface recurring customer pain points and product feedback for internal teams.

Required profile

• Native‑level English with excellent written communication skills.
• 1‑3 years of experience in social media, community management or B2C customer service.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, VPNs and information technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global (mostly remote) environment.
• High emotional intelligence and the capacity to handle privacy‑sensitive interactions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
