About the role

Zap is looking for a visionary SEO Team Lead to own a standalone SEO business unit that blends search, automation, and generative AI. You will drive growth for thousands of SMBs across Israel by shaping AI‑driven search strategies at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the unit’s strategy, budget, and performance roadmap.
• Architect and deploy AI‑optimized (AIO) tactics across hundreds of thousands of digital assets.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing team of SEO specialists.
• Design GEO‑based strategies that dominate local search intent.
• Implement agile workflows and performance systems to turn data into market‑leading results.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with deep expertise in GEO‑SEO and AI‑powered tools.
• Proven track record managing large teams and developing talent.
• Strong understanding of P&L and business operations.
• Passion for automation and turning emerging trends into scalable solutions.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced agency or performance‑driven environments.
