Security Architect

About the role

AppsFlyer’s Security team is looking for a Security Architect to lead cross‑R&D security alignment, drive design reviews and shape the security architecture of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross‑R&D alignment of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and establish consistent standards.
• Lead complex security design reviews for new technologies, systems and cross‑tech initiatives.
• Define and own security architecture for high‑impact cross‑team projects, embedding security from the earliest design stages.
• Partner with DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform and R&D teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, IaC and shared services.
• Perform threat modeling and architectural risk assessments to mitigate weaknesses before production.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in security architecture, cloud/infrastructure security, application security or DevSecOps.
• Proven experience leading security design reviews across multiple R&D domains.
• Strong understanding of SSDLC practices at scale in a large engineering organization.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical risks into business impact and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Secure CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Network and identity security concepts: zero trust, IAM, secrets management.
• Threat modeling and architectural risk assessment.
