Project Manager - HV Switchgear, Protection & SCADA

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of High Voltage (HV) Switchgear projects, including Protection & Control and SCADA integration. The role covers the full project lifecycle from order intake through commissioning and customer acceptance, while also supporting tendering, offer preparation, and front‑end sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HV Switchgear projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary customer interface during project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
• Support engineering reviews and technical clarifications with customers.
• Assist sales teams during customer engagements and bid preparation.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the bidding phase.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and bid clarification discussions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, or tendering within the power distribution industry.
• Experience with HV Switchgear and Protection & Control systems (advantage).
• Experience working directly with customers and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of electrical single‑line diagrams and protection philosophies (advantage).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Fluency in both Hebrew and English.
