OSINT Researcher – Cyber Threat Intelligence

About the role

We are seeking an OSINT Researcher to join our cyber threat intelligence team. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and operationalizing open‑source data to uncover cyber‑crime actors, tools, and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Infiltrate and monitor underground ecosystems to collect actionable intelligence.
• Identify threat actors, tools, leaks, and cyber‑crime patterns using OSINT sources.
• Automate reconnaissance and enrich data with custom scripts and open‑source tools.
• Track emerging cyber‑crime trends such as phishing kits, malware‑as‑a‑service, data dumps, and scam networks.
• Produce detailed threat profiles and intelligence reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with threat‑intel, DEIR, and red/blue teams to drive real‑world actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in OSINT, threat intelligence, or cyber‑crime research.
• Strong understanding of OPSEC practices.
• Deep knowledge of cyber‑crime tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience with virtual labs, sandboxing, and darknet crawling infrastructure.
• Prior exposure to red‑team operations, malware analysis, or fraud detection is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OSINT tools such as Maltego, SpiderFoot, Recon‑ng, and Shodan.
• Basic coding and scripting abilities in Python, Bash, Regex, and web‑scraping frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with sandboxing and darknet crawling environments.
