Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Ormat, a world leader in renewable energy, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee international shipments, primarily sea freight, for its power‑plant projects. The role serves as the main liaison between freight forwarders, shipping companies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of equipment and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international shipments, focusing on sea freight operations.
• Coordinate activities with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
• Handle third‑party shipments and Letters of Credit, including all required documentation.
• Collaborate closely with local and international logistics providers and multiple internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics and working with freight forwarders or shipping companies.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Experience in a project department within a forwarding company (advantage).
• Experience with Letters of Credit (advantage).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
