Junior Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to join BoomBoom’s finance team in Israel. The role supports day‑to‑day finance operations, monthly close, reporting and cross‑border processes in a fast‑moving global startup.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Own routine accounting operations including reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments and intercompany items.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks and payroll providers in Israel and abroad.
• Assist with budget‑versus‑actual analysis, tax compliance, audit and statutory reporting.
• Help improve finance workflows, internal controls, documentation and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Based in Israel with CPA qualification.
• 1‑2 years experience as an Assistant Controller or similar post‑Big 4 finance role.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience with financial statements, reconciliations and close processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Highly organized, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with finance systems such as NetSuite.
