Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Financial Controller to join the Group Finance team in Haifa. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls across our global fintech operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Lead external audit work, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Implement and maintain appropriate systems and internal controls throughout accounting and finance processes.
• Support headquarters with deep‑dive accounting, tax, and project tasks.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries, providing guidance and support to local finance teams.
• Oversee accounting system entries and manage day‑to‑day finance operations such as accounts payable, cash flow, and banking transactions.
• Manage the company’s taxation affairs, including VAT reconciliation, preparation of VAT reporting packages, and timely tax payments.
• Monitor subsidiary bank accounts, daily payments, and prepare budget‑vs‑actual analyses.
• Consolidate financial reporting packages for HQ, handle inter‑company calculations, and review capital adequacy ratios.
• Ensure proper signatory rights are implemented at group level and act as a business partner to other units affecting financial reporting.
• Review and analyse financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Required profile

• CPA qualification with experience from a Big 4 firm, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• 3–4 years of experience as a controller in a public company.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• NetSuite ERP.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Taxation and VAT handling.
