Computer Vision Algorithm Developer

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for an Algorithm Developer to join its R&D team in Migdal Ha-emek. The role develops advanced algorithms for optical metrology systems used in semiconductor devices, within the Optical Metrology Division of the Global Products Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research and development of advanced algorithms for next-generation optical metrology systems.
• Tackle complex, real-world challenges in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment.
• Work closely with experts in AI, optics and semiconductor technologies.
• Drive the full algorithm lifecycle, from concept and feasibility to implementation and on-tool integration.
• Analyze diverse data sets and develop innovative solutions.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI and image processing.
• Background in optical systems or microscopy is a big plus; experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Ability and motivation to grow into a leadership role.

Required skills

• Strong Python skills for algorithm development.
• AI and image processing experience.
