Algorithm Developers Tech Lead

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for an Algorithm Developers Tech Lead in Migdal Ha-emek. The role sits within the Global Products Group's Optical Metrology Division, which builds metrology and inspection products for wafers, reticles, integrated circuits, packaging, printed circuit boards and flat panel displays. You will conduct research and development of innovative algorithms for the next generation of optical metrology of semiconductor devices, in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define algorithm challenges, carry out feasibility research, define concepts, develop solutions, run qualification tests and implement them on tool.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluating multiple factors.
• Select methods and techniques with good judgment to obtain solutions.
• Collaborate with highly skilled peers and interact with senior internal and external personnel.
• Receive little day-to-day instruction, only general guidance on new assignments.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Engineering or Physics, or M.Sc. with at least 3 years of experience (mandatory).
• Proven experience in signal or image processing (mandatory).
• Experience developing and implementing algorithms (mandatory).
• Experience in the semiconductor industry and ability and willingness to lead in the future are advantages.

Required skills

• Algorithms development and implementation using MATLAB / Python.
• Signal or image processing.
• Optical systems / microscopy experience is an advantage.
