Subsidiaries Controller – Group Finance

About the role

Plus500 is seeking a Subsidiaries Controller to join its Group Finance team in Tel Aviv/Haifa. The role will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance and regulatory filings for the company’s subsidiaries, and support new entity set‑up and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close process and consolidation of subsidiaries.
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages to headquarters.
• Manage ad‑hoc accounting, tax, and project tasks for the HQ.
• Monitor compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and related filings.
• Act as the finance focal point for establishing new subsidiaries (taxation, ERP, training, monthly reporting package, etc.).
• Partner with business units that affect financial reporting.
• Review and analyse financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Analyse budget vs. actual variances and develop action plans.
• Coordinate with external advisors and accounting firms for periodic reporting.

Required profile

• CPA qualification.
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• Minimum 3 years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Proven track record of implementing new systems or automating accounting processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High proficiency in English.

Required skills

• NetSuite ERP (advantage).
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge.
