Strategic Sales Account Manager – Retail Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Manager, Strategic Clients based in Israel to own and grow relationships with Verifone's most important retail‑sector accounts. The role works closely with Product Management, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and Marketing to deliver tailored payment solutions for large retail merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with Verifone’s most important retail‑sector accounts, ensuring long‑term partnership and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering and Marketing to design and deliver tailored payment solutions that meet evolving merchant needs.
• Manage comprehensive end‑to‑end solutions from point‑of‑sale systems to head‑office integrations across retail chains, influencing transaction volume and customer retention.
• Coordinate multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and develop business cases and pricing proposals to drive profitable growth.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales, key account or strategic account management experience, preferably in payments, fintech or retail technology.
• Proven track record of managing and expanding high‑value client relationships in competitive markets.
• Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, including POS systems, payment processing and omnichannel commerce, especially fashion and non‑food sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage C‑level retail executives.
• Fluent in Hebrew (written and spoken) and proficient in English.
• Ability to manage long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and coordinate internal cross‑functional teams.

• Salesforce (CRM tool for pipeline and account management).
• Payment terminals (knowledge of hardware and integration).
• Gateways (experience with payment gateway solutions).
