Software Engineer – SONiC Verification (Automation)

About the role

NVIDIA is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Ethernet Switch SONiC Network OS team. In this role you will design, develop and maintain automated test suites that validate the functionality and performance of NVIDIA’s networking software.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global team of engineers to create robust, maintainable automation frameworks for SONiC.
• Develop and execute test cases, integrate them with continuous‑integration pipelines, and generate detailed test reports.
• Automate builds, run regression suites, isolate failures and classify degradations.
• Contribute to improving test coverage and overall product quality.
• Stay current with NVIDIA products and networking technologies to ensure effective testing.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong motivation for automation and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Linux operating system concepts.
• Networking fundamentals: Ethernet, VLANs, TCP/UDP/IP, QoS, L2/L3 protocols.
