Software Engineer (Backend)

About the role

Reindeer‑AI is building an agentic AI platform that automates complex enterprise workflows. As a Backend Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents that handle document processing, data extraction, and decision‑making at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents using large language models and reinforcement learning to automate enterprise tasks.
• Build and integrate APIs that connect agents with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain data pipelines for large‑scale document and unstructured data processing.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and compliance measures (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Deploy agents on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes for scalability.
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests and continuously monitor system performance.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, front‑end engineers, and product teams to align capabilities with business needs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with AI‑driven or autonomous systems.
• Proven track record of deploying AI models or agents in production environments.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL/Vector databases.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Security protocols: OAuth2, JWT.
• AI frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face.
• Experience with RPA tools, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Go, Rust, and graph databases such as Neo4j.
