Senior Technical Project Manager

About the role

Speedata is building a purpose‑built ASIC processor (APU) that delivers up to 100x faster Apache Spark performance for analytics and AI workloads. The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead cross‑functional execution across VLSI, ASIC, and software teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with controlled risk.

Key responsibilities

• Drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex hardware and software projects.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate regular reviews, stand‑ups, and cross‑functional syncs.
• Track and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating when needed.
• Partner with engineering leads to optimize workflows and allocate resources efficiently.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and technical operations for hardware projects.
• Generate dashboards, reports, and KPIs to communicate project health to management.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in semiconductor, ASIC, or VLSI startups.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on startup environment.

Required skills

• Basic Linux proficiency.
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana.
