Senior Software Architect – GPU Networking

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join its GPU Networking Architecture team. You will shape Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for next‑generation AI‑driven data‑center networks.

Key responsibilities

• Define system and software architecture for SDN of emerging AI networks, integrating innovative software and hardware components.
• Set use‑cases and metrics for monitoring complex high‑speed network control‑planes.
• Collaborate with GPU and Switch hardware and software teams, product groups, and fellow architects to turn AI network technologies into reality.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of proven experience as a software architect.
• Demonstrated networking experience.
• Can‑do attitude, high energy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi‑time‑zone environment.

Required skills

• Software Defined Networking (SDN) definition and development.
• Hands‑on experience with InfiniBand.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
