Senior Software Architect – Cloud & Data Security

About the role

Sentra, a global leader in cloud‑native data security for the AI era, is looking for a Senior Software Architect to design and develop complex, high‑scale systems that protect sensitive data across multi‑cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve scalable, efficient system architectures aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to R&D teams, promoting best practices and high‑quality decisions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and data science teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, driving innovation and performance optimization.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through continuous architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture design.
• Proven track record of building high‑scale, data‑intensive systems.
• Strong background with various database technologies and building systems on top of them.
• Experience with cloud environments and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and guide technical teams.
• Experience integrating text classification and large language models is a plus.
