Senior Material Planner

About the role

DustPhotonics, now part of Credo, develops cutting‑edge Silicon Photonics technology for high‑performance data‑center connectivity. We are seeking a Senior Material Planner to join our Operations team, ensuring material availability for production plans while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Own the material planning interface with contract manufacturers and subcontractors, including consignment inventory tracking, WIP visibility, and lot status follow‑up.
• Monitor material flow at external sites, escalating deviations or risks to continuity.
• Develop and maintain material plans based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain accurate ERP data (receipts, inventory transactions, order status) and support expiry management, MRB, and material disposition processes.
• Participate in S&OP and supply review meetings and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives in planning processes and tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in material planning or supply‑chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing material planning with contract manufacturers and subcontractors, including consignment inventory and WIP tracking at external sites.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as Priority and NetSuite.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor/chip manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently under pressure.
