Senior Electro-Mechanical Buyer – Cables Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electro‑Mechanical Buyer who will lead the sourcing and purchasing of cables and related components for our innovative communication solutions. The role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring material availability, and driving cost‑reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships with local and global vendors, including sourcing new suppliers.
• Lead projects from requirement definition through final delivery, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Logistics.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, lead times) and implement continuous‑improvement actions.
• Ensure supply continuity and material availability to support production needs.
• Negotiate contracts and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supplier‑management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional projects and working with manufacturing subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret cable‑assembly and electronic board (PCB/PCBA) drawings (advantage).
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Capability to read cable‑assembly and PCB/PCBA drawings.
