Senior Controller

About the role

Rapyd is seeking a Senior Controller to lead the Group’s closing processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across its global operations. This senior finance professional will work closely with subsidiaries and regional finance teams to consolidate financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the Group.
• Manage financial consolidation, reviewing reporting packages from subsidiaries and regional teams.
• Review working papers, accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, and analytical procedures.
• Analyze consolidated results, identify unusual trends, and coordinate resolution of discrepancies.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across entities and jurisdictions.
• Participate in preparing consolidated financial statements and disclosures in line with applicable standards.
• Support annual audit and interim review processes, coordinating deliverables and responding to auditor requests.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a Big Four firm or a global FinTech company.
• Prior finance experience in a high‑tech environment.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and multitasking abilities.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
• Excellent understanding of budgeting, financial closure, and reporting processes.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• BSc/BA in accounting; CPA qualification preferred.
