Senior Cleanliness Process Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cleanliness Process Engineer to lead the development and qualification of cleaning processes for high‑precision ceramic components used in semiconductor, medical and high‑tech applications. The role combines technical leadership, cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure product cleanliness and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, qualify and continuously improve cleaning processes to meet customer cleanliness specifications.
• Act as the technical lead for all cleanliness‑related activities, supporting process qualification and resolving technical issues.
• Lead cross‑functional task forces to investigate manufacturing, contamination and supplier issues using structured root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing and Customer Support to implement robust cleaning solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance of manufacturing and cleaning processes from New Product Introduction through sustained production.
• Design, optimize and validate cleaning equipment, chemicals and technologies to boost product quality, yield and efficiency.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on contamination control, process capability, reliability and cost reduction.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in precision cleaning, contamination control, materials engineering or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.

• Surface analysis and materials characterization.
• Vacuum system knowledge.
• Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Six Sigma methodologies.
