Senior Accountant (IT/High‑Tech)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant with experience in the IT / high‑tech industry to take full ownership of our Israeli entity’s accounting operations and oversee accounting processes in Serbia and Ukraine. This is a practical, hands‑on role where you will manage key accounting processes in Israel while reviewing the work of local accountants abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for the Israeli entity.
• Personally handle VAT, payroll, payments, expenses, and income.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare and review P&L and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Israeli accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee accounting processes and local accountants in Serbia and Ukraine.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Work with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other financial partners.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on accounting experience in Israel.
• Experience in an IT / high‑tech company (mandatory).
• Experience overseeing accounting processes and external/local accountants in international operations (mandatory).
• Practical knowledge of Israeli VAT, payroll, payments, reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Experience with P&L and financial reporting.
• Israeli CPA qualification – strong advantage, not mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Fluent Hebrew and good English.
• Independent, accurate, and able to combine hands‑on accounting with international financial oversight.
