Sales & Marketing Officer – Field-Based Roofing Specialist

About the role

City Roofing and Planning is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to drive business growth on construction sites. The role focuses on prospecting, client acquisition, and promoting the company’s roofing solutions directly with property owners and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Visit ongoing building and construction sites, residential developments, and commercial projects to identify potential clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, contractors, developers, and foremen, executing diligent follow‑ups to win sales and secure roofing contracts.
• Identify new market segments and upcoming structural projects within the region to expand the company’s portfolio.
• Communicate technical specifications, quality, durability, and cost benefits of City Roofing’s products to prospective buyers.
• Coordinate with the technical or installation team to provide accurate structural quotes and ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of proven experience as a marketer within the roofing industry.
• Diploma or professional certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently with or without supervision.
• High level of professional discipline, integrity, strong negotiation skills, and a persistent “can‑do” field attitude.
• Exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal, listening, and persuasive negotiation skills.
