Project Manager – Defense Sector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple high-budget projects in the air-defense sector. The role involves overseeing the full project life-cycle, coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring delivery of business, financial and technical objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several high-budget security projects simultaneously, keeping scope, schedule and budget on track.
• Lead projects from initiation through execution to closure, monitoring progress, risks and issues.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Address all project dimensions – business, administrative, financial and technical – and negotiate to resolve conflicts.
• Report status, risks and performance metrics to senior management.
• Maintain strong human-relations, service orientation and productivity across teams.
• Promote a creative, solution-oriented environment and travel within Israel to meet customers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex, software-intensive projects in technology or product-development companies.
• Proven track record with software development, systems integration or multidisciplinary technological products.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional engineering and business teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, project methodologies and management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, budgets, schedules, risks and stakeholder interfaces.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership, service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
