Procurement Buyer – Raw Materials, Construction & Electronics

About the role

We are expanding our procurement team at a leading defense company in central Israel. The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, construction services and electronic components, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effective solutions for our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for the assigned domain (raw materials, construction & infrastructure, or electronics).
• Issue RFQs, conduct commercial negotiations and finalize supplier agreements in line with company procedures.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and cross‑functional teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance and Project Management.
• Create and monitor purchase orders, track deliveries and expedite supply to meet project schedules.
• Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers, supporting cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics, Economics or a related field (advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological, industrial, electronics, mechanical or construction environments.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Technical understanding of at least one domain: raw materials, electronics, or construction & infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
