Processes & Packaging Operator

About the role

Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in continuous production.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures and pressures to meet process specifications.
• Follow engineering drawings, work orders, manufacturing assembly procedures, SOPs and other written or verbal specifications.
• Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair and dismantle machinery according to documented procedures and blueprints.
• Perform set‑up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and electrical/electronic systems using hand tools, power tools, jigs and fixtures.
