Principal UX Designer (Cloud Application Security)

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal UX Designer to shape the user experience of its Application Security Posture Management and software supply chain security products. You will work on industry‑defining solutions that help developers and security practitioners secure cloud applications from code to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Create UX and UI concepts, detailed flows, and high‑fidelity mockups.
• Redesign and enhance visualizations to improve clarity and impact.
• Expand and maintain the ongoing Design System.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to turn concepts into well‑designed, implementable flows.
• Provide guidance to engineering as designs are built and iterate based on user feedback and data.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of UX/Product design experience for complex web applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design work.
• Expertise in data visualization and a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
• Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering intuitive experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, self‑managing, and autodidactic.
• Effective team player with clear, direct communication.
