Physics Lab Technician

About the role

Camtek is looking for a Physics Lab Technician to join its Physics group. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the physics laboratory, supporting experiments, product lifecycle activities and knowledge management in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory inventory, equipment and overall organization.
• Ensure laser safety compliance and manage related procedures.
• Prepare requirements, build and maintain optical setups for experiments.
• Conduct optical tests and support new product introduction (NPI) and end‑of‑life (EOL) activities.
• Provide production support and maintain the virtual physics knowledge‑base.
• Create and update work procedures, technical documentation and knowledge resources.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical experience in a laboratory, production or engineering setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Hebrew.
