Medical Director

About the role

PhaseV is redefining clinical‑trial design with causal machine learning and generative AI. The Medical Director will join the Tel Aviv team as the primary clinical voice across all four product modules, collaborating closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers while engaging directly with pharma, biotech, and CRO clients. The position is hybrid, requiring at least four days per week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for causal‑ML models, ensuring relevance and accuracy of platform outputs and client deliverables.
• Act as the clinical expert in client‑facing discussions, translating data‑science results into actionable medical insights.
• Partner with business‑development colleagues to convey PhaseV’s clinical value proposition, participate in client meetings, and help shape proposals.
• Collaborate with product and data‑science teams on new platform capabilities, defining clinically meaningful use cases, endpoints, and success criteria.
• Guide internal teams on clinical concepts, supporting adaptive trial design, Bayesian methods, and regulatory considerations.

Required profile

• MD degree.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with scientific, business‑development, and executive audiences.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary startup environment.
• Curiosity and willingness to engage with advanced biostatistics and causal machine learning (technical expertise not required).
