Mechanical Technician

About the role

Vishay Dimona is looking for a reliable Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair the equipment used in its semiconductor and electronic component production lines. The role focuses on ensuring machines operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or part replacements.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Test machinery to verify proper operation and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical manuals.
• Install, set‑up, and commission new equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Practical Engineer or Technician degree in Mechanics.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Good time‑management and communication skills.
