Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Eshed Group is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering department of a leading defence company. The role focuses on the development, design and production integration of structural elements and dynamic systems for advanced aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical design of systems, structural parts, assemblies, airborne structures and complex mechanisms.
• Define raw material processing technologies and manufacturing methods for all designed components.
• Conduct initial strength calculations and basic structural analyses using advanced CAD/CAE tools.
• Take full engineering ownership and drive design tasks from concept through execution.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design of dynamic systems, assemblies and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with composite materials and their manufacturing processes (advantage).
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens NX within a Teamcenter environment (advantage).
• Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis software such as Nastran or Ansys (advantage).
