Mechanical Assembly Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our R&D department, focusing on the precision assembly and ruggedisation of electronic boards for both military and commercial applications. The role involves hands‑on work in the laboratory, supporting product development and ensuring high‑quality assembly of rugged military computer systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly of company products, including ruggedisation of electronic boards.
• Assemble rugged military computer systems following detailed product documentation.
• Interpret and work from assembly drawings, process travelers, and production paperwork.
• Prepare coating and bonding drawings for electronic boards.
• Design and build custom fixtures for laboratory equipment when required.
• Provide direct support to R&D engineers during lab activities and product development.

Required profile

• Strong spatial perception and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Proven experience in precision mechanical assembly.
• Creative, accurate, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence.
