Linux System Administrator – Enterprise Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a large‑scale enterprise production environment. You will be responsible for managing critical infrastructure, servers, virtualization platforms and core systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and support Linux and Solaris servers in a large production environment.
• Perform hands‑on work with physical servers, including installation, disassembly, hardware replacement and troubleshooting.
• Install and configure Linux operating systems on both physical and virtual servers.
• Administer VMware/vCenter virtualization environments.
• Support ISP, DNS and mail infrastructures and operate HPOV monitoring systems.
• Lead infrastructure projects and collaborate with multiple teams across the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Proven experience in large, complex production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with physical server hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting, self‑learning ability and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Solaris operating systems.
• VMware/vCenter virtualization.
• Red Hat OpenStack.
• Bash scripting.
• HPOV monitoring (advantage).
• Splunk, DNS/ISP and HP server hardware (advantage).
