Legal Counsel – M&A (Renewable Energy)

About the role

We are seeking a talented, business‑oriented Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Israel. The role focuses on supporting Econergy’s growth through international mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate transactions related to renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support M&A transactions and strategic investments, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing transaction documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee legal due diligence, identify risks and propose practical mitigation solutions.
• Collaborate with external counsel, financial advisors, technical consultants and other advisors.
• Assist with post‑closing integration activities and corporate governance matters.
• Handle additional legal assignments as directed by the General Counsel.

Required profile

• LL.B. from a recognized university and qualified attorney in good standing with the Israeli Bar Association.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification M&A experience at a leading law firm, with proven experience on complex international transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, commercial mindset, fluent English (additional European languages a plus).
