Junior Bookkeeper

About the role

TMF Group is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join its fast‑growing finance team. This entry‑level position offers solid exposure to a variety of accounting tasks for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Monitor client bank statements and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly VAT and WHT reports for clients.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts both verbally and in writing.
• Handle client mail and prepare schedules/reports as requested.
• Assist during audit and tax‑return preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience with transaction posting and bank reconciliations.
• Understanding of VAT and WHT reporting.
• Ability to maintain fixed‑asset registers.
• Good verbal and written communication for client and vendor coordination.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to handle administrative tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
