Financial Modeller – Renewable Energy Portfolio

About the role

Econergy is looking for a hands‑on Financial Modeller to own and evolve the financial models that drive project, portfolio and corporate decisions across its European renewable‑energy portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Economics & Planning, you will directly support M&A, credit rating, valuation and forecasting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models at project, portfolio and corporate levels.
• Update, optimise and stress‑test existing models to ensure accuracy as the portfolio expands.
• Provide modelling and scenario analysis for corporate development, including M&A and partnership evaluations.
• Support reporting processes such as credit rating submissions, valuation reporting and forecasting cycles.
• Translate model outputs into decision‑ready materials for finance teams, the CFO and the CEO.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Corporate Development and Accounting to keep model assumptions aligned with operational and market realities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in project debt modelling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Hands‑on attitude with the ability to build models from raw data to decision‑ready output.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Clear communicator who can adapt technical detail for senior leadership.
