Financial Controller

About the role

Nuvei is seeking a self‑driven Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of its Israeli subsidiary. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the global corporate finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Produce monthly analytical reports.
• Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare financial statements as required.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with government tax filings.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise bookkeeping staff, including supplier payments and payroll.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in a technology company with 100+ employees.
• At least 5 years combined experience in accounting and finance.
• CPA qualification and experience with a Big 4 firm is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledgers.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ownership, problem‑solving ability, and teamwork.
