Financial Controller – Digital Banking

About the role

ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, is seeking a Financial Controller to join its finance team. You will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision‑making in a fast‑moving, AI‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Compile monthly management and Board of Directors reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital adequacy ratios.
• Submit accurate financial reports to the Bank of Israel in line with all applicable regulations.
• Enforce financial reporting controls to maintain data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare the bank’s annual tax report.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing reporting processes.
• Banking industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High level of written and verbal English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
