Experienced Test Train & RRV Driver

About the role

Alstom is seeking an experienced driver to operate test trains, road‑rail vehicles (RRV) and shunting vehicles for the dynamic testing phase of the Tel Aviv Green Line Light Rail Transit project. The role involves working in zones managed by the Temporary Operations team and supporting commissioning activities across the 39 km network.

Key responsibilities

• Drive test trains during testing and commissioning activities.
• Operate RRV and shunting vehicles for test, rescue, recovery and line‑sweep tasks.
• Follow all Temporary Operation rules and safety procedures without deviation.
• Assess and train other drivers when qualified and authorized.
• Report site risks (e.g., displaced barriers, open doors) to the OCC operator.
• Operate non‑traction equipment such as platform screen doors or switch machines when trained.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma.
• Certified LRV driver in Israel with at least 1 000 hours of experience.
• Valid Road Driving Licence B (Licence C where RRV public‑road use applies).
• Good knowledge of the light‑rail environment and construction site health & safety.
• Experience in rail line operation or commissioning is desirable.
