Electrical Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Low‑Voltage Electrical Engineer to join its Kiryat Gat team. The role focuses on the design and delivery of electrical systems for advanced industrial and commercial facilities, including semiconductor plants and data centres. You will work on‑site five days a week, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to turn complex concepts into built solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete electrical construction documents for medium and low‑voltage power, lighting, grounding, process heating, standby generator and UPS systems.
• Coordinate design activities with other engineering disciplines in real time to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with IEC and local codes.
• Perform site selection, due‑diligence, and field observation of construction activities.
• Review subcontractor submittals for conformance with contract and design intent.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and designers on project‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience designing building electrical systems, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency in English (CEFR B2) and Hebrew.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Kiryat Gat.
• Knowledge of ATEX requirements and experience with semiconductor tool installation and data‑centre design.

Required skills

• Revit or other BIM software.
• Electrical design tools such as EasyPower, ETAP or SKM Power Tools.
• Understanding of IEC standards and local building codes.
• Familiarity with ATEX regulations.
