Director of IT Security

About the role

The Director of IT Security will lead Aidoc’s corporate IT security function, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and continuous improvement of security controls across the organization. Reporting within the IT strategy, budget and governance framework, this role partners with IT, Operations, R&D, Security, Compliance, Legal and business stakeholders to protect identities, endpoints, SaaS and AI environments, corporate systems and supplier information assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the corporate IT security roadmap and operating plan, defining procedures, standards and improvement initiatives.
• Manage and grow the IT Security team, starting with a Security Engineer.
• Implement, operate and enhance security controls for identity and access management, endpoint security, DLP, SaaS, AI tools and corporate systems.
• Own the vulnerability‑management lifecycle, including risk‑based prioritisation, remediation SLAs, tracking and reporting.
• Assess and approve internal SaaS and AI tool requests, escalating high‑risk cases.
• Define security requirements for suppliers, vendors and third‑party platforms and lead related security reviews.
• Maintain security monitoring, technical enforcement, control documentation and audit evidence.
• Lead corporate cyber‑resilience activities, including business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a corporate IT security function.
• Experience managing security teams and driving security maturity.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders such as IT, R&D, Compliance and Legal.
