Director of Finance & Investor Operations

About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a global investment group managing over $5B across real estate, infrastructure, private credit, private equity, hedge funds and other alternative investments. We are looking for a Director of Finance & Investor Operations to join a growing private investment platform activity in a central, broad and highly business‑facing role.

Key responsibilities

• Support fundraising processes and participate in meetings with existing and prospective investors.
• Lead investor follow‑up processes, including due diligence, data rooms and coordination through closing.
• Take ownership of financial information, investor reporting, capital calls, distributions and performance calculations.
• Build financial analyses, forecasts and cash‑flow models to support business decision‑making.
• Work closely with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors and legal counsel.
• Build processes, dashboards and controls, leveraging AI and automation to improve workflows and reporting.
• Work directly with senior leadership on the management, development and establishment of investment platforms.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Finance Manager.
• Strong financial and accounting capabilities, with excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to independently lead processes, manage multiple interfaces and take full ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to see the bigger picture beyond financial statements.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence working with investors and senior stakeholders.
• CPA qualification or strong accounting background.
• Experience with investment funds, asset management, institutional investors or fundraising – an advantage, but not a requirement.
