Director of Data

About the role

Guardio is seeking a Director of Data to lead its data organization. In this senior role you will shape data strategy, drive analytics across the business and build a high‑performing team of analysts, scientists and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and grow teams of data analysts, data scientists and data engineers.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and engineering to define data policies, processes and strategy.
• Use data and analytics to inform business decisions, optimize media acquisition and monitor product metrics.
• Ensure data quality through continuous monitoring, auditing and improvement of data pipelines.
• Promote a data‑driven culture by increasing data literacy and embedding analytics throughout the organization.
• Stay current with emerging analytics tools and evaluate new technologies for adoption.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary data teams.
• Background in B2C, SaaS or e‑commerce environments.
• Experience with self‑serve enablement through AI tooling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
