Data Center Security Manager

About the role

The Data Center Security Manager is responsible for safeguarding Google’s data center facilities through comprehensive physical security programs. You will lead security budgeting, vendor management, and incident response while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to mitigate operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain compliance processes aligned with CSRM policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage security budgeting and oversee physical security vendor performance.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and legal teams to enforce security policies and lead investigations.
• Direct response to active security incidents, coordinate critical event workflows, and act as the primary liaison with law‑enforcement and public safety officials.
• Develop and deploy risk‑mitigation processes, and continuously improve security operations across data center locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating resources and leading physical security operations in data center environments.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross‑team collaborations.
