Data Analyst – Risk Management

About the role

We are seeking an analytical, detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join our Risk Management data team. You will work directly for the client company from day one, focusing on the analysis, development, monitoring, and governance of predictive and decision models that support risk‑related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses of business processes, draw conclusions and propose improvement recommendations.
• Own the monitoring and control of predictive and decision (risk) models, building a dedicated reporting framework.
• Develop and implement predictive and decision models using available data repositories and advanced research methods.
• Design and execute test plans for decision‑making logic and manage issue resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive model documentation and manage change‑control documentation.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering & Management, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience writing complex SQL queries in large organizations.
• At least 1 year of experience developing in Python for data analytics, predictive analytics or machine learning (academic projects acceptable).
• Experience analysing complex business systems and processes with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Preferred background in financial‑sector organisations (banks, insurance, non‑bank credit, capital markets) with exposure to risk, credit or statistical/ML models.
