Cyber Security Training Engineer

About the role

Vega is seeking a Cyber Security Training Engineer to educate enterprise security teams on its AI‑native platform. You will guide analysts from basic queries to advanced detection engineering, ensuring they master the tool and can apply it to real‑world threats.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, deep‑dive, and advanced workshops for security teams, both on‑site and virtually.
• Create custom training assets such as courses, hands‑on labs, exercises, and reference documentation tailored to customer environments.
• Teach advanced topics including query language mastery, detection engineering, threat hunting, and investigation workflows.
• Demonstrate complex attack techniques and explain detection and response strategies.
• Answer technical questions during and after sessions, escalating to experts when needed.
• Publish public content – technical write‑ups, recorded sessions, and self‑paced training.
• Guide teams on building and integrating AI workflows into security operations.
• Engage with the Vega community by organizing events, CTFs, and providing expert support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the cyber security field.
• Experience delivering education or training to enterprise customers.
• Comfortable working hands‑on with data or log analytics tools such as SIEMs or databases.
• Native or fluent English communication skills.
• Highly independent and able to manage complex technical sessions.
