About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Customer Support Technician to join its field support group in Migdal Ha'emek. You will work in a clean‑room environment, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting advanced semiconductor equipment for customers in Israel and abroad.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain Applied Materials equipment at customer sites and occasionally overseas.
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults and execute advanced troubleshooting on multidisciplinary systems.
- Document infrastructure, work processes and improvements, ensuring compliance with clean‑room standards.
- Work in shifts, including nights and weekends, and support customers in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Technician or practical engineer degree in electronics or mechanics.
- Experience with electronic or mechanical equipment (advantage).
- Willingness to work in shifts and high level of English.
- Service‑oriented team player.
