Controller – Luxury Hospitality Finance

About the role

The InterContinental David Tel Aviv seeks an experienced Controller to lead the finance function within a dynamic luxury hospitality environment. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and providing strategic financial support to hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations and prepare financial statements, management reports and performance analyses.
• Manage the budgeting process, including planning, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead financial projects and support strategic decisions across hotel departments.
• Coordinate with hotel management, IHG regional finance and ownership on contracts, audits and compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the hotel and the IHG network, perform VAT reconciliations and support annual budgeting.
• Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a completed CPA internship at a mid‑to‑large accounting firm.
• Minimum 2–3 years of managerial experience, preferably in hospitality finance.
• Excellent command of English (spoken, written, reading).
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and proven leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional processes.
