Controller – Finance Operations Lead

About the role

Bounce is looking for a results‑oriented Controller to lead finance operations and shape the company’s financial strategy during a high‑growth phase. You will own the month‑end close, ensure compliance, and drive process efficiency in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily finance operations and manage the month‑end close to deliver accurate financial statements on time.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes for accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with accounting standards and local tax regulations; conduct research on complex accounting matters.
• Manage external audit relationships and ensure industry‑standard reporting.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to gather data, provide insights, and support strategic decision‑making.
• Produce in‑depth financial analysis, including budget vs. actual and trend reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• CPA certification and prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Controller, preferably in a high‑growth startup or fintech.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
